Lawrenny Boys is the likely leader at a strong tempo. TOO MUCH TOO SOON (10) is a former Victorian who resumed this trip as a $2F but found McVeigh much too good. She has more to give, and the top hoop is engaged today. Deserves another chance. LAWRENNY BOYS (2) was in the firing line all the way and finished a very close second last start over 1100m at Launceston. Uses the low gate and keeps the handy 2kg claim. Busting to win and the blinkers are on again. PRIMROSE BOY (4) improved sharply second-up, narrowly beaten this course/trip. Has a low draw and has upside. QUEEN OF RAP (9) went close on debut on the same day and the 4kg claim brings her into it. CAN'T CATCH CHILLI (8) resumed and was in the money in that contest as a $4F. Has more up the sleeve but the barrier is sticky. SUGGESTED PLAY: Too Much Too Soon appeals most.
