ANIMA RAY (16) was solidly backed last time out but failed to fire and finished fifth over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 14 lengths. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Will prove tough to beat. VIS CRES (9) started at $2.60 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths at Nakayama Dirt over 1200m. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SHINE FOR ME (15) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt, beaten 5.5 lengths. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. JAGUAR RISE (8) finished 7 lengths from the winner in sixth after being in the firing line on the turn at his most recent outing over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Should be about the money.
