Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Zebedee Springs. ZEBEDEE SPRINGS (6) is a consistent gelding who posted his first win on his home track here just over a fortnight ago, courtesy of a good ride from 3kg claiming apprentice Ava Catarino, who again takes 3kg off her back. She has the pole position and can repeat the dose. PRIZED JEWEL (5) fought on well enough when finishing third here last time out and had won a similar race to this before that. She is in a good space, and another honest effort is expected. RULING DAME (8) ran on too late when finishing third as an odds-on favourite here 8 days ago. She has an extra 100m to travel this time and can have the last say. ONEMOREFORLEO (2) failed to fire fresh up and usually takes another run before hitting his straps. He has a good record over the trip here and will have the aid of a 2kg claim to reduce his weight. With the right run, he can figure in the finish. Include in all multiples to be safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prized Jewel each-way.
