Good pace from Japanese Garden, Leanne's Love and Mamlambo. MAMLAMBO (4) caught the eye when second on debut over 1160m on this course last start. She took time to find her feet but finished off her race strongly. She would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1400m. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the widest draw, and will be mowing down the frontrunners. JAPANESE GARDEN (2) was her own worst enemy last time as she over raced in the early stages. On previous form, she should throw out a big challenge to the top choice. STAMPEDE AHEAD (8) is an unraced daughter of Futura from the Mike and Adam Azzie stable with S'manga Khumalo in the saddle. If not in need of the run, she should give a good account of herself. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. ONE SUMMER (6) has run two fair races to date. The daughter of One World has scope and should enjoy the rise to 1400m. She can improve to finish in the placings.
