Dawdling affair devoid of a pacemaker. Tricky staying race. BELLAKAI (6) hasn't been far away in two runs this time in, now going up sharply in trip. The Symon Wilde camp are very good at getting horses fit so expect this daughter of Melbourne Cup winner Fiorente to relish the extra trip. OFF HIS ROCA (2) is some query at 2400m having missed the placings in three runs over the trip to date. This probably won't be a strong test however and he's going well. Can take up a prominent role and take catching. WISAKA (1) and BANNERTON (5) only appear to be plodding in recent outings but come right into calculations following a few key scratchings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bellakai on top.
