Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when seventh over 1600m at this track. Has a good record here at this journey with two wins and a minor placing from four starts. Expected to play a major role. TRE PONTI (7) is a 10-start maiden who finished fourth when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track. Chance to break her maiden status with that run under her belt. KAMI ARASHI (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when sixth over 1400m at this track. Finds a more suitable contest and can rediscover winning form. FIRECRACKER (4) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth over 1400m here last time. Can feature in the finish.
