Solid tempo with I Promise You leading from Deciduous and Take The Lead. CONNEWARRE (10) did not cope with a wet track at Eagle Farm last start and will be a quick improver on a better surface. He is nicely placed in this and will find it easier than his most recent assignments. Hard to beat. DECIDUOUS (5) has found winning form with a step up to a suitable trip and gets to carry a kilo less than his last start, thanks to a claim. He is chasing a hat-trick and can complete the task. AMERICAN PRESIDENT (4) charged home too late when finishing third by a head here 4 weeks ago over 1400m. He can secure the right run from the pole position and can have the last say this time. I PROMISE YOU (6) was too strong at a recent Dalby picnic meeting 3 weeks ago. She has a terrific record on this track and can double the dose. SUGGESTED PLAY: Connewarre to win.
