Abundant pace from Maria Pilar, Gladius and Shocking Delight vying for the lead with French Fille on their backs. FLYIN' THE PIN (8) is a four-year-old import having her first run for the Amber Hoffman stable. Hasn't raced since she finished sixth over 1200m at Newcastle five months ago. Not seen at the trials but she should feature in the finish. FRENCH FILLE (6) has been placed in two of her last four runs. Win chance in this on her best form. MARIA PILAR (7) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1200m at this track in a tougher race. Likely improver so she will be hard to beat. RED MOON RISING (1) finished fourth at his most recent outing over 1200m at Wingatui after he got a long way back in the run. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. SHOCKING DELIGHT (9) was not too bad at debut. Wide draw here but still an improver. One for double figures again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flyin' The Pin is a win wager.
