SEIUN ATER (12) is a 19-start maiden who looks close to that elusive win after finishing in the placings at the last couple of runs, most recently when second over 1300m at Mizusawa. Nicely placed and gets his chance. SMILE WAVE (1) went forward last start over 1300m at Mizusawa and held on well for third, beaten 9 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. KITANO BELMONT (6) scored two runs back then was well in commission last time but could only manage to finish ninth over 1400m at Mizusawa after he had settled well back. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. WILD BOUQUET (7) made progress last start to finish third over 1400m at Mizusawa. Finds a nice race and can keep improving.
