NELSON (2) goes on top. He's first up here but has plenty of ability, despite falling in his last steeple race. He's been tuned up with some solid trials leading in, winning his latest by 10 lengths, and if he brings his best, he'll be awfully hard to beat. PRISMATIC (1) switches to the bigger fences having tackled some strong hurdle races of late. Still improving, he can take it up to the top pick. ALAKAHAN (3) resumes, now trained by Steven Pateman, who also rides. Have to respect. AQUILEON (8) resumes for the Amy McDonald yard. A recent steeple trial was sound enough, he can run well. LORD GOLDBERG (9) also trialled quite well recently and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nelson to win.
