Perfect Ruler should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. IMPRESSIVE JEWEL (6) resumes and was narrowly beaten at her first two starts, before being outgraded at Ascot. She's trialled well, and Faithful sticks from that. She will be naturally improved and is well-placed in this lineup. APHRODITE MAGIC (7) was within range twice at Ascot and then went close at Pinjarra back to this level. Peaks now and can form the quinella. REGGIO CALABRIA (1) and PERFECT RULER (2) are both capable. The former made good improvement last time, beaten 2.4L at Pinjarra. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Impressive Jewel.
