Solid tempo likely from Mawsons Expedition and Speedy Target. HARE STREET (8) finally broke the maiden last start, working home well to just prevail over this distance at Ballina. Has always showed ability and can go on with the job now. MAWSONS EXPEDITION (2) returned from a seven-month spell with a dogged all-the way win for new trainer Samantha McGuren over today's journey at Tuncurry recently. Lightly raced four-year-old with plenty of scope for further improvement. EXPOSITION (1) has been struggling of late over longer trips in better company. Is a winner at 1000m and could surprise despite a crushing weight. VELVET (12) led and gave cheek at massive odds on the Gold Coast poly last time. Capable of a repeat performance.
