Avoidance should find the front with Prospector's Pick and Six Shooter on his heels. PROSPECTOR'S PICK (5) ended last campaign on a disappointing note after a strong fresh win over 1200m. His trial coming into this campaign was great and Pike hops in the saddle for his fresh run. Drawn to get every chance and can resume with a big win fresh. SIX SHOOTER (6) is another horse on the rise, being a 3YO who was tried in stakes grade to end last campaign. He'll be fitter for two trials coming in and Brad Parnham partners him on resumption. Looks to have plenty of upside and can resume on a winning note. SHOOTING SPIRIT (2) was a winner at this track and trip three starts back and has claims. AVOIDANCE (1) was good in a recent trial and is a two-time winner fresh. Worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prospector's Pick gets the nod.
