Good tempo with several going forward, primarily Panthera Uncia, Endizayo and Blazing Sky. QUIET WINTER (10) produced a promising debut effort over 1160m at Turffontein last start. Despite jumping inwards at the start, she showed pace and stayed on well to finish third. Craig Zackey is booked to ride and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should go close. CAPTAIN SELVIE (8) ran a decent race on debut over 1200m on the Classic course last start when finishing fourth of seven. She would have come on from the run and has each-way claims. DESERT CLOUD (1) was a beaten odds-on favourite in her last start over 1200m on the Turffontein Inside course. She is back against her own sex and should be cherry-ripe. Muzi Yeni may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her when it matters most. BILINGUAL (5) stayed on well when second over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She has place claims.
