BOLD STATE (3) was well fancied last time out but after being in contention on the corner disappointed in finishing fourth over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. This offers him a great chance of breaking through. ALSKAR (1) was never in contention when 13 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1400m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at this track the run before. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is sure to be prominent. HO O VERITE (6) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1400m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. BAI YULAN (2) settled well back and never threatened when eighth over 1400m at this track last time out. Well placed and should be in the mix.
