Has a solid record here at the distance with two wins and four placings from nine tries. A bold showing is likely. LION RAFALE (6) was well fancied last start over 1400m at this track when fifth. Placed tow back so deserves another chance. GRUAGACH (8) improved last start when second-up but found one better over 1200m at Funabashi, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Can keep improving.
