Only a small field but Overimpatient, Araceli and Little Freddy will ensure a genuine tempo.
ARACELI (4) resumes from a spell for a new trainer and would have strengthened up over her break. She cops a decent draw and 1 of her 3 career placings did come over this trip. Hard to beat. LITTLE FREDDY (1) has been runner-up in his last couple of starts in modest 4-horse fields at Gladstone, and another honest effort can be expected in a field like this. TUANAKI CREEK (3) will also be resuming from a spell and has been placed in his only start here. He has been in the money a couple of times fresh up, and can figure in the top 3. OVERIMPATIENT (2) was well in the market last time out at Mackay but failed to fire. This is easier, and he would not be a shock winner, especially with Ash Butler in the saddle. SUGGESTED PLAY: Overimpatient each way.
