BATTICUORE (1) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1400m at Kasamatsu after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BLACK RISE (7) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on 15/12/2024, finishing seventh and beaten 12 lengths over 1300m at this track. Worth plenty of thought. SEPTEMBER SONG (2) was beaten 6 lengths into ninth in a 1400m contest at this track last time out. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
