Plenty of first starters engaged which muddies the map a little. It is fair to assume a genuine tempo. MYRIAD (6) has raced twice to date, good here on debut behind the very progressive Scenic Point before an even effort at Ballarat. Tricky draw but can improve again. MALDINI (4) was solid behind a smart winner first up at Ballarat. Should come on from that and take some beating. BELLA PIETRA (10) is a filly by King's Legacy on debut for the Hayes yard. She's won a jump out leading in and has to be respected. GABOR (11) is a filly by Grunt on debut for the Browne yard who has won a couple of hitouts and looks set to run well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Myriad on top.
