TRIPLE CORK (5) returned from a break last start and drifted well back before closing powerfully to score over 2200m at Niigata, getting home by a neck. Progressive colt who will be tough to hold out again. HO O ATMAN (6) ran a bold race over this journey when resuming last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish half a length away in third at this track. Won easily over 2200m at Kyoto second-up last prep. Placed to advantage and can take this out. JUN TSUBAMEGAESHI (4) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 2200m at Chukyo. Kept fresh since that appearance nine weeks ago. Right in contention. ROSA SANS RIVAL (8) has not appeared since he finished second over 2600m at Fukushima on April 20. Sound fresh performer who is one to consider.
