Likely improver and worth following up. GRAND CELESTE (10) resumes from a spell of nine weeks. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1800m at Niigata. Close to a win and looks set for a bold return. SOUTHERN TEIO (7) improved last start to finish third over 1600m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. OCEAN STELLA (1) is back after a break of ten weeks. At the last run before the layoff she finished fourth over 1800m at Sapporo. Solid top-three hope.
