Genuine tempo from Stormbringer leading Sure Intentions. STORMBRINGER (2) scored an overdue Maiden win getting home by 1.2L over 1200m at Goulburn. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely drawn and he looks certain to measure up again. SURE INTENTIONS (4) showed early speed from a good draw first-up beaten 1.7L over 1200m at this track. Has come off back-to-back wins and has a handy gate and 2kg claim. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ROCCO LINI (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Cootamundra but ran below par last time over 1300m at Canberra. Has his share of talent and can do a lot better. Draws inside and Collett is a key jockey switch. AIRLINER (8) hasn't won for a long time but is going extra well. Has an awkward gate but can feature at odds with average luck in the run. Stablemate ULYSSES BLUE (5) always puts in and can go better second-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Stormbringer to win.
