Speedy Smartie, Run Run Timing and Colonel all possess good speed. SPEEDY SMARTIE (2) was a winner over this course and distance three back but hasn't lost a yard since, winning again last time out over 0.5L. His recent trial was very strong and the Teetan and Crawford combination is a proven recipe for success. Can bring up back-to-back wins. RUN RUN TIMING (4) finished 1L off the winner last start over this course and distance after jumping the race favourite. The cheekpieces go on for the first time now which looks a good move for him. Nice trial coming in also and he can land the knockout blow. RAGNARR (1) ended up well back in the run from a sticky gate last time out under Purton when the race favourite over 1400m. His record here is a bit of a query, though his effort here three back was strong. Watch for him late in the race once again. SONIC BOOM (11) bumped into a good winner last start but has raced well here in recent times. Can feature in the finish.
