Raced at JRA level last time in, placing three back at Kokura. Can make an immediate impact for the new mentor at this level. FORD TESORO (5) saluted at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when fourth over 1600m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Best figures measure up. GALAPAGOS (11) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at this track. Has a solid first-up record of two wins and three placings from seven runs. Looks one of the genuine hopes. METUS (7) showed early speed from an outside draw last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish third, beaten 3.5 lengths. Could go a couple better.
