Without much in the way of early speed it might be left to Tassel Knot to take charge. TASSEL KNOT (6) finished second, beaten half a length, over 1800m at Niigata on debut nine weeks ago and has been kept under wraps since. Will be better for that race experience and looks well placed to be in the finish again. FURTHER AWAY (1) debuted four weeks ago when he finished fifth over 1800m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Likely improver who is worth another chance. MEINER DESIRE (3) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1800m at this track. Expected to feature with improvement to come. RUMBERA (5) ended up 8 lengths behind the winner in seventh on debut last start over 1600m at Niigata. Open to plenty of improvement. One of the hopes.
