Weiss Witch can work over from a wide gate to lead. MAGNA DOMUS (1) turned in a fine effort to win by half a length at today's track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Tackles a richer race but his record here stands at two wins and placing from three attempts and has the ability to test this field. FALLA (8) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by 1.5 lengths. Winning rider Hidetoshi Abe stays aboard and he is one of the main chances. CHIBI ARTHUR (2) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at Mizusawa two starts back then scored by 4 lengths as favourite last time out over 1400m at this track. Can feature again from a good draw. THERMAL (4) could be ready to win after seconds in both starts since a spell.
