SAMARKAND (3) bounced back to form to finish 1.5L away most recently when sitting on the speed over this course and distance. Has the speed to cross from the sticky barrier and he's knocking on the door despite not winning for nearly 600 days. Can end the drought today. STERLING WONGCHOY (12) is another horse who sits on the speed and may have felt the pinch late when fresh. He'll be better for that effort and he gets in with no weight on this back. Can dictate from the front and give himself every chance. FANTASTIC FUN (4) jumped favourite last start and got the job done by 0.8L. That was his first time over this track and trip and he relished it. Different scenario this time but he can build on what he did last time out. AMAZING AWARD (5) is better than he showed first-up and can turn his form right around.
