Cracking tempo with Parents' Love and Candlelight Dinner leading the way. ETERNAL FORTUNE (2) looks ready to fire on resumption on the back of two impressive trials coming into this. He lost the rider at his last start but was in strong order prior to that. Bowman hops in the saddle now and if he can run up to his trials, he'll take plenty of beating. PARENTS' LOVE (3) led and won impressively over this track and trip last start when the race favourite, scoring by 1.8L. Up in grade now, but he has the speed to cross from out wide and the weight relief is a big tick. Will take plenty of catching. CANDLELIGHT DINNER (6) led and missed last start over this track and trip but has been back to the trials since where he was very impressive. Draws the inside now which is a big tick and he'll take plenty of catching. BLUE ILLUSION (7) has had plenty of trials in readiness for this after nearly a year off the scene. Atzeni rides in his HK debut and he can make an impression on what he's shown at the trials.
