Despite the wide draw Ecoro Dinos should cross and set a genuine tempo. TOPPI BORN (7) was well held in the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) won by Croix Du Nord over 2400m at Tokyo at his last appearance five months ago. Competitive at Gr 2 level the run prior. Will be tough to stop in this company. ECORO DINOS (10) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 2000m at Hanshin. Likely to press forward from wide out and is primed for another big run. KITASAN HANABIRA (6) returns from a spell of 12 weeks after back-to-back wins to close last campaign, the latest over 2000m at Chukyo. Has never been out of the money in four starts here, including a win. Capable of a big run. MEDITERRANEAN (9) is a progressive three-year-old colt who resumes from a break of three-and-a-half months, his last appearance being a win over 2000m at Chukyo at his only run of that campaign. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. This looks a nice way to kick off the prep.
