Expecting a strong tempo over this journey. ISLE DU LIEN (9) has switched yards since finishing fourth six weeks ago over 1200m at Kokura. Expecting a seamless transition. BIG DREAM (4) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing ninth over 1200m at Kokura nine months ago which was the only run of that prep. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past. Should be poised just off the lead. Expected to be in the finish. VENT VIVE (3) improved last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1200m at Nakayama after being in the firing line on the bend. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. IMPROVISER (8) was sent out at long odds when resuming last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only 1.5 lengths, over 1200m at Nakayama. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Sure to be thereabouts.
