Tricky one to map with a number of first starters but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. LAHORE (8) has spent a while at the trials learning his craft, but he's showing positive signs ahead of his debut. He's shown good speed in those trials and Avdulla has been with him all the way through. Can make a winning start to his career. PARENTS' LOVE (4) just missed by 0.5L last start at Happy Valley and has turned in a sharp trial since that effort. The inside draw is a niggle with the straight course, but he possesses good early speed and he'll take plenty of catching. NORTHERN BEACHES (1) drops back in class today after a 2.8:L defeat from well back at this track and trip. Hugh Bowman hops in the saddle now in what looks like a targeted attack. Drawn nicely out wide and can feature. COME FAST FAY FAY (6) is another debutant who has shown enough at the trials. Can make an impression.
