Not expecting much speed here in a race devoid of on-pacers. DESERT LEGEND (2) switches to synthetic for the first time. Went around as public elect last start but found a couple better over 1400m on turf at Sunshine Coast. Happy to stick with this three-year-old. SHOW ME THE STARS (6) finds the maiden win elusive but has shown glimpses of ability. Deserves more respect in this line up. ROXSET (5) is on a quick back-up after finishing fifth in better company four days ago over 1200m at Ipswich. Capable. BOOM CRUSHER (1) finished fourth last start over 1200m at Toowoomba, an improvement on his first-up ninth at Warwick the run before. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Desert Legend to win.
