Good pace from Feargal, Cleitus and La Sapienza. Competitive. CHARITIES (9) was outgraded at Caulfield, but had improved again when beaten a whisker at Ballarat prior. Comes back 200m briefly freshened, and winning rider Yendall is reunited. ASAWIN (4) spiked his figures beaten a whisker at Ballarat this grade/trip. John Allen will push forward, and he can go one better. ARIZONA ACTIVIST (1) has been racing in stronger and held his numbers at Sandown following a narrow defeat at Wangaratta prior. Lugs top weight, but with a good ride, he's good enough to make the finish. CLEITUS (5) resumes and has placed 3/4 fresh. He rates well enough, and the late betting will be key. ALCOSHARE (3) maps well and third-up can show more like his best. He has the first-time blinkers applied. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Charities.
