Strong pace from Ecoro Falcon and Emerging Role matching motors with Kyoshintankai close at hand. ECORO FALCON (4) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 4.5 lengths away in third over 1400m at this track. Well-placed and is going to prove tough to run down. EMERGING ROLE (9) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Second up record is very strong. The engagement of Shuji Akaoka is a positive move. Strips fitter and can feature. BLACK STORM (7) improved last start to finish second over 1400m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to find winning ways. FREEWHEELING (8) was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1600m at this track eight weeks ago. Worth noting Seiya Tatara goes aboard. Better than recent efforts suggest.
