No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. LAYERED RED (1) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished eighth over 1800m at Nakayama. Opened last prep with a minor placing at Niigata over 1800m. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. DO JUSTI (14) is a three-year-old colt on debut. From an elite family that includes a G1 victor, being by Justify from the stakes winner Misty For Me. Sure to be well-educated, being from the Y Ikee yard. Looks set to make a positive start to his career despite a difficult barrier.
