Has three wins when second-up and has plenty of upside with the run under his belt. Expected to feature. HAKUSAN PIONEER (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1500m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. H Yoshihara gets the best out of this five-year-old entire. Finds a tougher race but a better run will not surprise. COEUR DE REINE (3) finished a 7 length fifth when resuming last start over 1500m at this track. Second up record is very strong. Can do better than last.
