Genuine tempo with Shoot The Rapids, Duke Of Africa and Positive Attitude taking up forward positions. SHOOT THE RAPIDS (3) produced a good comeback run when second over 1800m at Greyville last time out. He raced from a handy position and fought hard all the way to the line. He has plenty of class about him and can return to winning ways. CAPE EAGLE (2) was slightly disappointing in his last start over 1750m on this course. He will strip a much fitter horse today and having won this race last year can defend his title. RAISEAHALLELUJAH (5) is better than his last start run would suggest. Three of his nine victories have come over this distance. On best form shown, he is capable of winning a race of this nature. ARVERNI KING (7) was an easy winner of his last start over 2000m at Greyville. He has finished second in both of his course and distance attempts. The son of Vercingetorix takes a big rise in class, but he is in a good space and should be figuring in the finish.
