Namura Joshua can work over from a wide alley to lead. NAMURA JOSHUA (11) showed good pace over 1400m at this track last time and dug deep to score by 3 lengths. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. IDATEN TURBO (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just four wins from 55 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. YOSHIO DRIVE (5) scored two back at this track but was below his best last time when sixth over 1400m at this track. The engagement of Isao Yamaguchi is a positive move. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves another chance. ROSSO (9) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at this track over 1400m. Can improve and is worth including.
