Back in trip and assess on his good minor placing three back at Gosford when third over 1600m. Finds a very ordinary contest. STAR LACY (7) best performance in twenty starts after running on late to secure her first minor placing when second over 1400m at Tuncurry. Gets in light again with the claim and won't have to improve much to be thereabouts again. LADY ALABAMA (12) sound debut when second over 1015m at Grafton, then jumped in trip and failed to handle the heavy conditions when seventh over 1106m at this track. Well placed to return to form. ASSENT (4) resumed for new yard with an encouraging second over 1200m at Coffs Harbour. Further improved and since fitted with a 900m trial at the Gold Coast. Genuine top three prospect. BLACK ASSASSIN (5) hit the line with plenty of intent when third over 1200m at the Gold Coast. Trip suits and can race closer from the good draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Trifecta 1,7,12,4,5.
