FORGIVENESS (5) is better than her last start run would suggest as she was reported to be not striding out. She has class about her and if putting her best foot forward, she should fight out the finish. MASCHERINA (6) ran on from last when third over 1600m at Greyville last time. She has won twice and finished second once from six starts on this course. She will strip a much fitter horse and cannot be ignored. SPIRIT OF LEVANA (2) ran a good race when third over 1600m on this course. She should have no issues with the rise to 1750m and if fit, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest. TOMYRIS (9) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 1600m at Turffontein Standside after a win at this track at the previous outing. Well placed and can make amends.
