GOING: S(7)

Brushgrove Mechanical COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE 1115m

Track: SOFT 7   Rain (Max: 24)   Rail: +5m Entire.

Geoff And Jenny may well find the front is a race devoid of early speed. OLIVERSHARE (5) progressive gelding resuming. Not far away on debut when sixth over 1006m here on November 25. Primed for this with a 1050m trial win and senior rider engaged. Finds a winnable race. HOMELAND (3) fitter after two good runs and finally drawn a decent gate. Covered plenty of ground in the run when a tenacious second over 1106m at this track in the heavy going. Ready to shed his maiden status at start eight. GEOFF AND JENNY (7) trained locally and gets some weight relief now with Baker's 2kg claim. Tongue-tie goes on after running fifth over 1100m at this track four weeks ago. Value player who finds a suitable race. HE'S POPLAR (2) resumes after having mixed fortunes last time in. Proven at this track and trip and not asked to do much when fourth in a 940m trial at Grafton. Will be strong late from the middle gate. CLUSTER'S GENERAL (1) much better effort when surging late to secure second over 1010m at Port Macquarie. Follow up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Olivershare to win.
