Stay Astern to take charge ahead of Denzoe at a good tempo. GAV HAS SPOKEN (10) is a nicely placed here following a sound effort at Pinjarra last time out. She was slowly away there, but she'll be much closer in the run with a good break this time. She was a winner at this track an debut and she can return to winning ways in this suitable assignment. BLACK SANDS (2) drops back in trip following a disappointing effort over the mile here last week. His run here two back was very good and a return to that level should see him right in the finish. NEW ATTRACTION (7) is hard to knock on recent performances and just missed here most recently. She's had 24-days between runs and while the draw is sticky, if she can run up to his recent figures she won't be far away. WINEACLOCKSUMWHERE (6) was good fresh and can build on that performance. I'M ON (4) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to winning form without surprising. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gav Has Spoken can win the last.
