Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Porpora Ziel. KAZENO RUNNER (2) went to the paddock after scoring at his only appearance last prep five-and-a-half months ago over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Expected to be in the finish. GENIUS BAROWS (10) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 1800m at this track. Will be handy in transit despite the tricky draw. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. PORPORA ZIEL (5) raced on the speed and dug deep to score by 2.5 lengths at today's track and distance last start in a far better run. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. LYSINE (1) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 1800m at this track. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
