Strong pace from Boom Shakalaka, Masterbling and Sakhala Is'cathulo. NORTHERN WARRIOR (8) was running on when third over this distance at Greyville last time. He has won twice and finished second once from eight starts over this course and distance. He takes a drop in class and can notch up his eighth-career victory. TCHAIKOVSKY (7) is better than his last start run over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course would suggest. His penultimate run catches the eye. S'manga Khumalo is booked to ride and he cannot be ignored. RHYTHM (5) fought hard when second over this distance on the polytrack last time. He returns from a spell which may have done him the world of good. If not in need of the run, he should be involved at the finish. HAPPY ANALIA (11) fought hard when second over 1200m at Greyville last time. All three of her career victories have come over this distance. She receives her sex allowance and should give the males a decent run for their money.
