THE CUNNING FOX (3) has won 3/3 over hurdles and went close 12 days ago in a Geelong 64 on the flat. He's had a trial since over the sticks and should be right in it. AFFLUENTIAL (2) brings two tidy flat efforts from Sandown and has won 4/4 over hurdles. He's going to be very competitive. STERN IDOL (1) finished alongside the above at Sandown first-up and is accomplished over hurdles and steeplechases. Is a clear top weight, but Pateman rides for the premier barn and will give him every chance. RIGHT NOW (5) resumes and has been well prepared for this outing. Jumps well and deserves a look. PRISMATIC (4) will be fitter again had can fill a minor slot. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with The Cunning Fox.
