Genuine tempo with the speedy Covenant leading the way. COVENANT (7) travelled on-pace when resuming last time out over 1400m at this track and dug deep when pressured but found one better. Goes well over this trip, filling a placing at all four starts, including a win and should be in the finish. ZIEGFELD (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 1400m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. SANONO DANCER (5) had been in great form winning two on end before missing the frame last time when ninth over 1580m at this track. Kyoka Fukazawa who has two wins when partnering stays on. Can bounce back. A SHIN SALOMON (2) was seventh over 1580m at this track two weeks ago. Better than recent efforts suggest and worth consideration here.
