The presence of a few newcomers will keep Hit The Gas busy. INCREDIBLE PATCH (1) probably should have won a race by now, but he has not been too far away in 3 of his 4 starts. He finds a very winnable race, and from his good gate, he gets another chance to crack his maiden status. RYBAKINA (6) ran a much better race on a good track at Waverley a month ago, matching her solid debut effort, which was also on the same surface. She has the pole position, and as long as the track is not too wet, she can figure in the top 4 again. AIN'T IT FUN (5) ran on strongly from well back when finishing second at long odds on debut here just over 3 weeks ago. She won't have to improve by much to win a race at short notice. IKAN (7) has lacked some strength in the past, but she definitely has the talent to win a maiden race this year. Follow the market moves around her. MISS BEHAVE (8) makes her debut from the powerful Robbie Patterson stable, and she would have been to the local workouts on her home track at New Plymouth. Watch closely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ikan at each-way value.
