Moderate tempo with Tennessir leading the way. Archibald-trained MARCHON (5) was slow off in an Open 2 at Rosehill on debut and was immediately tipped out. Just missed in a metro trial before and solid enough effort over 1300m Warwick Farm first-up. Was bet $3.5 and will be tough to beat in this grade with the extra fitness. WAVE DANCER (11) didn't have the best of it finding a place over 1400m here three weeks ago. She's also in a leading Sydney stable and is sure to keep improving. Stablemate STRIKE A POSE (7) finished a touch behind the above in the same race when better supported. Positioned forward and he's also lightly raced with plenty of scope for improvement. HELIGAN (3) is third-up and still well shy of his best. He raced a $3 favourite on a heavy track at Nowra 12-days ago and look for him to be finishing hard. SUGGESTED PLAY: Marchon is hard to go past.
