Strong tempo assured from El Arish and Opera Belle leading the charge. NANCY SHE WROTE (1) is a very capable mare on her day, and racing in this direction seems to suit her best. She doesn't want it too wet, and she is worth including in all combos to be safe. EL ARISH (4) likes to run along in front, and he was only run down late at Pukekohe last time out, and before that, he was brave in third place at Matamata. Stick with him on an each-way basis. SWEET BUT PSYCHO (9) needed her fresh run at Tauranga when plugging on late for seventh on a heavy track when not many were running on that day. She has a good gate, and if she doesn't need this run as well, then she is capable of a top 4 finish. AMIRA D'ARGENTO (8) has been heading the right way with her form, and her last 2 starts have been her best on a turf surface. She cops a wide gate, but the extra 200m is what she has been looking for, and she has each-way claims again. ON THE TOWN (2) does not want it too wet, and he hit the line hard when finishing third at Pukekohe 4 weeks ago. Include him again. SUGGESTED PLAY: El Arish each-way.
