Pace strong with Lucky Crimson and Enniscrone leading with Our Little Cracker nearby. There was plenty of anticipation around PRAVAHA (11) on debut - $5.50 into $3.40 - at Kilmore back in October and while she didn't have the clearest passage in the straight, she still raced greenly and like she would benefit from the outing. A couple of nice jumpouts since suggest she has, so expect her to have admirers again. WILD RUBY (9) has had plenty of chances and while she hasn't been able to get the job done in nine starts, she's placed five times and a repeat of any of those runs would be good enough to make her a key player in this. MAPLETON HILL (7) debuts on the home track and has not been knocked around in two jumpouts to date, the most recent when comfortably accounting for a rival here in Barossa Valley. KRASNOLUDEK (6) ran his best race yet last start when put on speed and while drawn out that looks his best chance to play a role here. BAROSSA VALLEY (3) has been gelded since the debut run and deserves another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pravaha to win.
